Workshop for providers of ASD-specific parent education
DATE: 9th September 2010 (day before Autism New Zealand conference)
TIME: 12.30 – 5.30 pm
PLACE: Kingsgate Hotel, Hawkestone Street, Wellington
People who currently present ASD parent education are invited - it is free to attendees and lunch will be provided. Content will include the following topics:
- NZASD Guideline – theory to practice
- Evidence based interventions and the NZ Curriculum
- Ethical Issues
- How to engage/facilitate adult audiences
- Modes of Delivery
Please note there is a limit of 50 places for this workshop – costs incurred for travel and accommodation are not included.
