Activities

Ten-Pin Bowling Group:

Every Tuesday evening a small group meet at Garden City Bowl to 'socialise' and partake in ten-pin bowling. Each session costs $10 and runs for approximately an hour from 7pm. Each week the group enjoys their gathering, enabling them to undertake an individual task whilst also combining it with socialising skills.

We also welcome siblings and friends to come along and join in the fun if they wish to. The more the merrier!

Clip 'n' Climb Group:

The Clip 'n' Climb group is held on Monday evenings at The Roxx Climbing Centre. These sessions begin at 4pm and are run under the guidance of expert tutors at The Roxx Centre. The tutor involved has experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and is on site to encourage the children to partake in the activity and to conquer any fears people may have.

Each session costs $8 and is payable on the door at The Roxx Climbing Centre, corners of Waltham Road and Byron Street, Christchurch.

Badminton Group:

** Now THURSDAY ** Evening sessions, between 4pm and 5pm, at Badminton Hall, Pages Road (next to Cowles Stadium) are run in conjunction with Badminton Canterbury and Special Olympics. These sessions are fun based and allow for skill development.

All ability levels are welcome to attend the sessions which are suitable for children over the age of 8 years to adults. The sessions are also good for family members to come along and join in as well as the group always requires people to hit the shuttle back!
