Not sure what to do there. Am just plodding along at the moment.

Hi Gabby,
Just letting you know that we took Ashley to a naturopath and found that he has salmonela(I think that is how you spell it). So at lontg last we have found out what is wrong.
He did a food test on him, and found that he isn't allowed to have quite a few foods that we take for granted.
We will try this diet for three wks then have to go back to see the guy, and see where we go from there.
Gabby, thank you very much for putting me onto someone like him. We were at our wits end with knowing what to do.
Also, will be working with someone from his school, so we're getting there slowly.

Well guys,
Things not to good with Ashley at the moment. Have had him to Dr. a few times, as he has the runs and sore tummy. Everything came back normal, so he had blood tests today to find if there is anything going on inside, so waiting for those to come back.
So far this school term he has been there 12 and half days, he starts off good, goes to school then they ring and we have to go and pick him up. He says he wants to get better so he can spend more time there, so we are trying everything to make that happen.
He also wants to go home to live, so we told him if he does everything that is required of him, then it could happen.
First of all we have to get this sickness sorted, then slowly introduce going back home. He would catch the bus from Morrinsvile to Fraser High every day, and if at any time he wanted to come back to us to live, then the door would always be open to him.
If anyone has any ideas of what we can do to get him to stay at school, or what you think might be making him feel like he does, please let me know.
Any help would be great.

Well the school term started off ok, then he started to get sick again. Had him dewormed and that seems to have done the trick so far.
Yesterday the 11th August, Ash went down to the snow with some of his school, and really enjoyed the day.
They left just after 6am, so he wanted to be woken at 4.30am so he could wake up properly. It was a very long day for him, but coped really well. He went snow boarding, kept falling off, but was up again and away.
They got home at 7pm and was cold and tired. He was on a high for quiet some time last night, but got to bed just before nine and was asleep in no time at all.
Went to school really well today, thought he would play up, but hubby said all went well.
Gabby could you give me your friends e-mail address so I can write to her and hopefully Ash and her son can become friends? If that can't happen then it's ok.

Yes Gabby,
Another good day today. Hubby and Ashley gone to pools for a couple of hours, they go as often as they can, as that is something they can do together. Also going to Waikato rugby game on Saturday night. They both enjoy rugby also, not me much. LOL.

Hi guys,
Well it's been awhile since I've been on here. We have had a few issues, but now getting back on track.
At the end of last term, we were having problems with him at school, and saying that he was sick. We kept him home the last couple of weeks and the first week of the holidays he wasn't very good. I had him to the Dr. and is now on some new pills, which at long last are starting to work.

His mum and brother came and stayed with us for the first week, and he wasn't to good, but by the end of the first week, things were starting to improve. By the start of the second week he was ready to go home and have a wonderful time with his family.

School started again last Monday, and things went really smoothly until the Thursday. He started to throw up and was sent home from school in the morning, so hubby left home on the Friday, he went home for weekend and was pretty good, so went to school today and had a wonderful day.

We have given him a goal to aim for, hopefully in the next school holidays, we will be going over to Adelaide to visit my eldest son and his boys, and have told Ashley that if he tries really hard at school then he will be coming with us.

Will keep you all informed as to how he is going.
